Heights church is a group of Christians called to serve, support, nurture, and love the community of the Heights in Houston, Texas. We are a family of educators, artists, engineers, social workers; people of diverse backgrounds and ethnicities, who attempt to bring flavor and color into our neighborhood through our words and work.

We are thoughtful and reflective people who think and feel deeply about the way we live and interact with others. We have come to believe that the food we eat, the words we say, the music we listen to; the books we read all have to do with our love for God and others.

We are not passive recipients of our culture and its products, but seek to contribute to this world in a significant way, knowing that our work is eternally fruitful. As those who gather together to worship God, we acknowledge that faith is not an individual journey, but found in the connections we have with each other.
