The reason we gather is to worship God together. This act helps us to remember that life is not a disconnected series of random events or made up of monotonous actions. Our lives are made for rest, connection, and reaching out for something greater than our present worries and distractions.

In song, we express our longing for the eternal.

In word, we acknowledge timeless truths that are handed down to us through the Scriptures.

In deed, we show that our lives are not our own, but belong to God and each other.

In blessing, we leave the sanctuary knowing the rich meaning that we pour into each other’s lives.
