These classes include lively discussion, in-depth historical and cultural understanding of the scripture, and are college-level study while still very friendly and conversational.
Teenagers meet to learn about what the Bible has to say about life, and how they can apply these Biblical principles each day at school and at home.
Children meet to learn the significant stories and characters of the Bible through crafts, story-telling, and songs.
Babies through age 4 are kept by loving caregivers who demonstrate God’s love.
Visual Arts
Artifex is a group of artists of all levels who meet monthly to collaborate, find encouragement, and enjoy seminars, masterclasses, and service projects.
They host gallery openings, museum trips, and other special events.

Wellness
Beginner Meditation Experience meets Saturdays at 8:30am and is open to all.
Learn about meditation and enjoy the experience of silence in your day.
Whether you’re looking to find more peace, reduce stress, go deeper spiritually, or you’re just curious, this non-denominational approach is a gentle introduction to practicing meditation.
You may find that meditating is easier than you think, and will enrich your life and the lives of those around you in unexpected ways.

More opportunities are coming soon in yoga, Pilates, nutrition classes, and more.
Music
Sunday morning worship services are led by the Choral Scholars.
This octet of singers is comprised of professional and pre-professional musicians who hold at least one degree from the Univeristy of Houston’s Moores School of Music.
They are performers, teachers, and conductors who are working to hone their skills in choral music performance and literature.
The Choral Scholars present several special concerts annually, including a Service of Lessons and Carols during Advent and a Service of Tenebrae during Holy Week.
There are opportunities throughout the year for volunteer singers to join the choir for special Sundays.
Recital series includes a variety of performances of classical and modern music by singers and instrumentalists.
Recitals are offered as a free gift to the community, while also providing performance opportunities for young professionals.
Private lessons in piano and voice at Baptist Temple are available by special arrangement.
